Freshwater biodiversities have been completely overlooked when thinking of the impact of land development. Some of the problems that were brought up were increased run off, downstream flooding, and pollution. Sebastian Martinuzzi, a doctoral researcher claims they aare thinking of every possible danger that could be caused to these underwater biodiversities, and are taking them into consideration.
